Why tank diving requires specialist expertise
In sewage plants, digesters, drinking water reservoirs and process basins, underwater work is often unavoidable – on aerators, submersible pumps, mixers, floors and liners. Unlike open water, conditions include confined spaces, poor visibility, aggressive media and strict hygiene rules. The dive team needs special equipment, ventilation concepts and documented operator briefings.
